This product (Catalog No. DPABH-24911) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SERPINA4, targeting the amino acid region 178–427 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SERPINA4, commonly known as kallistatin, is a multifunctional serine protease inhibitor (serpin) encoded by the SERPINA4 gene, acting as a potent anti-angiogenic, anti-inflammatory, and vasodilatory protein. Primarily expressed in the liver, it binds tissue kallikrein to regulate blood pressure and inhibits VEGF-induced angiogenesis, offering therapeutic potential in cancer, cardiovascular, and kidney diseases.
DPABH-24911 is suitable for use in IHC (1:20–1:200) application.
DPABH-24911 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
