This product (Catalog No. DPABH-00679) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SCYL1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SCYL1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a transcriptional regulator belonging to the SCY1-like family of kinase-like proteins. The protein has a divergent N-terminal kinase domain that is thought to be catalytically inactive, and can bind specific DNA sequences through its C-terminal domain. It activates transcription of the telomerase reverse transcriptase and DNA polymerase beta genes. The protein has been localized to the nucleus, and also to the cytoplasm and centrosomes during mitosis. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. DPABH-00679 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-00679 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide,50% glycerol,pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
