This product (Catalog No. DPABH-24116) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human S100A7L2. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. S100A7L2 (S100 Calcium Binding Protein A7 Like 2) is a human protein-coding gene belonging to the S100 family of calcium-binding proteins. Members of this family typically contain EF-hand motifs that bind calcium ions and are involved in regulating a variety of intracellular and extracellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, inflammation, and immune responses. S100A7L2 is closely related to S100A7 (psoriasin) and is considered part of the S100A7-like subgroup, though its precise biological function is less well characterized. It is thought to be expressed in epithelial tissues and may participate in host defense mechanisms and inflammatory processes, potentially acting as a signaling molecule in the context of immune or stress responses. As with several S100 family members, its functional roles and physiological relevance are still under investigation.
DPABH-24116 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:1000), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500) applications.
DPABH-24116 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
