This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21054) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RTTN, targeting the amino acid region 1417–1530 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RTTN, also known as Rotatin, is an evolutionarily conserved protein that is associated with the centrosome and plays a crucial role in centriole biogenesis. It is found in many organisms and was initially identified in a mutant mouse that exhibited defects in axial rotation and left-right specification. RTTN is required for proper mitotic progression, the maintenance of spindle pole integrity, and correct spindle positioning. Loss of RTTN can lead to mitotic defects, including G2/M phase arrest and increased aneuploidy cells. DPABH-21054 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000) application. DPABH-21054 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
