This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01783) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human RREB1, targeting the amino acid region 1–100 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RREB1 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a zinc finger transcription factor that binds to RAS-responsive elements (RREs) of gene promoters. It has been shown that the calcitonin gene promoter contains an RRE and that the encoded protein binds there and increases expression of calcitonin, which may be involved in Ras/Raf-mediated cell differentiation. Multiple transcript variants encoding several different isoforms have been found for this gene.
DPABH-01783 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-01783 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
