This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28908) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RPS23, targeting the amino acid region 2–143 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RPS23 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RPS23 (40S ribosomal protein S23), also called small ribosomal subunit protein uS12, is a subunit of the 40S ribosome and the first precursor of the small eukaryotic ribosomal subunit (PMID: 34516797). It is positioned in the decoding center of the ribosome that serves to maintain translational fidelity by monitoring the complementarity between the mRNA codons being translated and the anti-codons of aminoacyl-tRNAs (PMID: 28257692; 23636399).
DPABH-28908 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
DPABH-28908 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
