This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19142) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RPS15A. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RPS15A from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 40S subunit. The protein belongs to the S8P family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome. DPABH-19142 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:100–1:200) applications. DPABH-19142 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
