General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22504) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RPL6, targeting the amino acid region 1–288 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RPL6 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Ribosomes are large multiple protein complexes which is composed of more than 80 components and provide a protein-synthesizing machinery for all living cells. Ribosomal protein like 6 (RPL6, also called Taxreb107 for Tax responsive element binding protein 107), one of the ribosomal components, can bind with the Tax responsive element of human T cell leukemia virus (HTLV)-I in addition to be assembled to ribosomes [PMID:12031506]. Overexpressed in gastric cancer could promote cell growth and cell cycle progression at least through upregulating cyclin E expression[PMID:20171175].
DPABH-22504 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:2,000–1:10,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500), flow cytometry (FC) (0.20 μg per 10^6 cells in a 100 μl suspension) applications.
DPABH-22504 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
