General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-14796) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RPL38, targeting the amino acid region 1–70 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RPL38 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. 60S ribosomal protein L38, also known as RPL38 or eL38, is a highly conserved protein component of the large 60S subunit of the eukaryotic ribosome, encoded by the RPL38 gene located on human chromosome 17q25.1. This gene produces a 70-amino-acid protein belonging to the L38E family of ribosomal proteins, which is essential for the assembly and function of the ribosome in catalyzing protein synthesis within the cytoplasm and endoplasmic reticulum. RPL38 is ubiquitously expressed across human tissues, with particularly high levels in the ovary and adipose tissue, reflecting its fundamental role in cellular translation.
DPABH-14796 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000), IHC (1:20–1:200), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-14796 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
