General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28474) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RPL37. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RPL37 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein belongs to the L37E family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. The protein contains a C2C2-type zinc finger-like motif. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome.
DPABH-28474 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IH (1:100–1:200) applications.
DPABH-28474 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.42% Potassium phosphate, 0.87% Sodium chloride, pH 7.3, 30% glycerol, and 0.01% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
