General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-23183) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RPL12, targeting the amino acid region 1–165 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RPL12 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The 60S ribosomal protein L12 (RPL12), also designated as large ribosomal subunit protein uL11, is an essential structural component of the eukaryotic ribosome's large 60S subunit, which is critical for catalyzing protein synthesis during translation. This protein belongs to the L11P family of ribosomal proteins and directly binds to 28S ribosomal RNA (rRNA), contributing to the stability and functional assembly of the ribosome. Encoded by the RPL12 gene located on human chromosome 9q33.3, it is ubiquitously expressed across tissues, with particularly high levels in the ovary and bone marrow, reflecting its fundamental role in cellular protein production.
DPABH-23183 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:500–1:2,000) applications.
DPABH-23183 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
