General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12081) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RNGTT, targeting the amino acid region 328–553 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RNGTT (RNA guanylyltransferase and 5'-phosphatase), also known as the mRNA-capping enzyme, is a protein-coding gene in humans that encodes a bifunctional enzyme crucial for the post-transcriptional modification of messenger RNA (mRNA). This enzyme catalyzes the guanylylation step in the addition of a 7-methylguanosine cap to the 5' end of nascent mRNA transcripts, a process essential for mRNA stability, export from the nucleus, and efficient translation into proteins. The capping reaction involves two key activities: the N-terminal domain removes the γ-phosphate from the 5'-triphosphate end of the pre-mRNA to form a diphosphate, while the C-terminal domain transfers a guanosine monophosphate (GMP) from GTP to create the cap structure.
DPABH-12081 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-12081 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
