General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-08942) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RNF38, targeting the amino acid region 116–465 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RING finger protein 38 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RNF38 gene. This gene encodes a protein with a coiled-coil motif and a RING-H2 motif (C3H2C2) at its carboxy-terminus. The RING motif is a zinc-binding domain found in a large set of proteins playing roles in diverse cellular processes including oncogenesis, development, signal transduction, and apoptosis. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized. RNF38 is widely expressed with highest levels in testis. RNF38 exists various isoforms and molecular weight of isoforms are 36, 48, 52 and 58 kDa.
DPABH-08942 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:20–1:200), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-08942 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
