General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-23208) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RNF180, targeting the amino acid region 220–416 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RNF180 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RNF180 (Ring Finger Protein 180) is a member of the RING finger E3 ubiquitin ligase family that plays a role in protein ubiquitination and degradation through the ubiquitin–proteasome system. It functions as an E3 ligase that facilitates the transfer of ubiquitin from E2 enzymes to specific substrate proteins, thereby regulating their stability, turnover, and cellular signaling pathways. RNF180 has been reported to act as a tumor suppressor in certain contexts, particularly in gastric cancer, where reduced expression is associated with increased tumor progression and metastasis, potentially through effects on pathways controlling cell proliferation and migration. It is broadly expressed across tissues, with notable roles in epithelial and cancer biology. Although its full range of substrates and molecular mechanisms are still being elucidated, RNF180 is considered an important regulator of ubiquitin-mediated proteostasis and tumor biology.
DPABH-23208 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
DPABH-23208 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
