This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10071) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RIOK2, targeting the amino acid region 249–553 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RIOK2 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Rio-kinase 2 (RIOK2) is an atypical serine-threonine kinase that participates in the nuclear export and maturation steps of the pre-40S ribosomal complex to facilitate cytoplasmic translation. RIOK2 binds the pre-40S subunit and promotes its nuclear export by interaction with the CRM1 chaperone protein (PMID: 36661680, 28499923). High expression of RIOK2 has been linked to decreased overall survival in non-small cell lung cancer.. RIOK2's kinase activ DD-RIPK1-caspase-8 complex from lysosome to ER (PMID: 41249793). DPABH-10071 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:2,000–1:16,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications. DPABH-10071 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
