General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-23128) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RBM4B, targeting the amino acid region 1–359 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RBM4B from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RBM4B (RNA Binding Motif Protein 4B) is an RNA-binding protein belonging to the RBM4 family that plays important roles in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression. It contains RNA recognition motifs (RRMs) that enable binding to specific RNA sequences, allowing it to influence alternative splicing, mRNA stability, and translational control. RBM4B is primarily localized in the nucleus but can also shuttle to the cytoplasm, reflecting its involvement in multiple stages of RNA metabolism. It is thought to function in regulating developmental and tissue-specific gene expression programs, often in coordination with other splicing and RNA-binding factors. Although less studied than its paralog RBM4, RBM4B is broadly expressed and is believed to contribute to cellular differentiation and stress-response pathways through modulation of RNA processing.
DPABH-23128 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate) applications.
DPABH-23128 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
