General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28780) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RBM48, targeting the amino acid region 68–367 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RBM48 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RBM48 (RNA Binding Motif Protein 48) is a gene encoding an RNA-binding protein, belonging to the RNA-binding motif protein family, which plays an important role in the splicing process of U12-type introns. Deletion of RBM48 leads to an increase in the retention of U12-type introns, which affects cell differentiation and proliferation. And mutations in RBM48 are associated with a variety of diseases. For example, U12 intron splicing defects are associated with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and may increase the risk of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). RBM48 may serve as a prognostic marker in certain cancers, such as renal smoky cell carcinoma, renal clear cell carcinoma, and hepatocellular carcinoma.
DPABH-28780 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-28780 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
