This product (Catalog No. DPABH-23114) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RAB11FIP1, targeting the amino acid region 300–650 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RAB11FIP1 from mouse, rat, and monkey. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes one of the Rab11-family interacting proteins (Rab11-FIPs), which play a role in the Rab-11 mediated recycling of vesicles. The encoded protein may be involved in endocytic sorting, trafficking of proteins including integrin subunits and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), and transport between the recycling endosome and the trans-Golgi network. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A pseudogene is described on the X chromosome. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2013].
DPABH-23114 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications.
DPABH-23114 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
