This product (Catalog No. DPABH-11061) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human PRRX1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PRRX1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The DNA-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the paired family of homeobox proteins localized to the nucleus. The protein functions as a transcription co-activator, enhancing the DNA-binding activity of serum response factor, a protein required for the induction of genes by growth and differentiation factors. The protein regulates muscle creatine kinase, indicating a role in the establishment of diverse mesodermal muscle types. Alternative splicing yields two isoforms that differ in abundance and expression patterns.
DPABH-11061 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application.
DPABH-11061 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
