This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12895) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human PRPF18, targeting the amino acid region 281–342 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PRPF18 from rat, mouse, chicken, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, zebrafish, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Pre-mRNA splicing occurs in 2 sequential transesterification steps. The protein encoded by this gene is found to be essential for the catalytic step II in pre-mRNA splicing process. It is found in the spliceosome, and contains seven WD repeats, which function in protein-protein interactions. This protein has a sequence similarity to the yeast splicing factor Prp18.
DPABH-12895 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-12895 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
