This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21377) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PPEF2, targeting the amino acid region 294–442 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PPEF2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Pprotein phosphatase with EF-hand domain 2 (PPEF2), also known as PPP7CB, is a member of the serine/threonine protein phosphatase with EF-hand motif family. PPEF2 can dephosphorylate ubiquitin and suppress PINK1-dependent mitophagy. PPEF2 functions to suppress mitochondrial quality control on a cellular level through dephosphorylation of p-S65 ubiquitin. PPEF2 exists 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing with a molecular weight of 86 kDa (PPEF-2(L)) and 69 kDa (PPEF-2(S)). DPABH-21377 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000) application. DPABH-21377 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
