General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19489) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PPA1, targeting the amino acid region 1–289 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PPA1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PPA1(Inorganic pyrophosphatase) is also named as IOPPP, PP and PPase. It maintains the thermodynamic favorability of these reactions by catalyzing the hydrolysis of pyrophosphates into organic phosphates, which are then exported across the cell membrane(PMID:16300924).The erythrocyte inorganic pyrophosphatase molecule would appear to be a dimer(PMID:4130389).
DPABH-19489 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-19489 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
