This product (Catalog No. DPABH-13150) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human POLRMT, targeting the amino acid region 951–1050 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with POLRMT from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a mitochondrial DNA-directed RNA polymerase. The gene product is responsible for mitochondrial gene expression as well as for providing RNA primers for initiation of replication of the mitochondrial genome. Although this polypeptide has the same function as the three nuclear DNA-directed RNA polymerases, it is more closely related to RNA polymerases of phage and mitochondrial polymerases of lower eukaryotes.
DPABH-13150 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-13150 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
