This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22405) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PNPLA4, targeting the amino acid region 1–253 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PNPLA4 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PNPLA4(Patatin-like phospholipase domain-containing protein 4) is also named as DXS1283E, GS2. It participate in triacylglycerol hydrolysis and the acyl-CoA independent transacylation of acylglycerols, there by facilitating energy mobilization and storage in adipocytes. This protein has 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing. DPABH-22405 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications. DPABH-22405 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
