This product (Catalog No. DPABH-00894) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PKLR, targeting the amino acid region 219–420 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PKLR from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PKLR is a human gene that provides instructions for creating the pyruvate kinase enzyme, specifically the versions active in the liver and red blood cells. This enzyme is crucial for glycolysis, the process of breaking down glucose to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the primary energy source for cells.
DPABH-00894 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
