General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-23683) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human PIPOX. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PIPOX from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. L-Pipecolic acid oxidase (PIPOX) is a peroxisomal enzyme responsible for degrading L-pipecolic acid into α-aminoadipic acid δ-semialdehyde in human liver and kidney. It is essential for L-lysine metabolism and is often used as a marker for peroxisomal disorders, with decreased activity observed in cases like Zellweger syndrome. DPABH-23683 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application. DPABH-23683 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
