This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20898) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PIGQ. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PIGQ from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene is involved in the first step in glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchor biosynthesis. The GPI-anchor is a glycolipid found on many blood cells and serves to anchor proteins to the cell surface. This gene encodes a N-acetylglucosaminyl transferase component that is part of the complex that catalyzes transfer of N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) from UDP-GlcNAc to phosphatidylinositol (PI). Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. DPABH-20898 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:3,000) application. DPABH-20898 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, and 0.02% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
