This product (Catalog No. DPABH-25930) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human PI4KB. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PI4KB from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. PI4KB is a protein-coding gene in humans that encodes phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase beta (PI4Kβ), an enzyme of the type III phosphatidylinositol kinase family that catalyzes the ATP-dependent phosphorylation of phosphatidylinositol (PI) at the D4 position of the inositol ring to produce phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate (PI4P). This lipid product, PI4P, serves as a precursor for second messengers such as inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3) and phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2), which are essential for intracellular signaling, membrane trafficking, and organelle function.
DPABH-25930 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:50–1:200) applications.
DPABH-25930 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
