General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18556) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PHF23, targeting the amino acid region 1–403 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PHD finger protein 23 (PHF23), also known as hJUNE-1b, belongs to the PHF23 family. As a putative epigenetic reader, the PHD domain of PHF23 specifically binds to tri-methylated lysine 4 of histone H3 (H3K4me3). PHF23 is widely expressed in human tissues and various cell lines and exerts a negative effect on autophagy by promoting the degradation of E3 ligase LRSAM1 (leucine-rich repeat and sterile alpha motif containing 1) (PMID: 32978226, 32380078). The observed molecular weight of PHF23 is ~65 kDa, which may be caused by post-translational modification.
DPABH-18556 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:6,000), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-18556 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
