General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-11206) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PGLYRP4, targeting the amino acid region 18–113 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PGLYRP4 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Pattern receptor that binds to murein peptidoglycans (PGN) of Gram-positive bacteria. Has bactericidal activity towards Gram-positive bacteria. May kill Gram-positive bacteria by interfering with peptidoglycan biosynthesis. Binds also to Gram-negative bacteria, and has bacteriostatic activity towards Gram-negative bacteria. Plays a role in innate immunity. DPABH-11206 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:500) application. DPABH-11206 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
