General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19672) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PDGFRA. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PDGFRA from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a cell surface tyrosine kinase receptor for members of the platelet-derived growth factor family. These growth factors are mitogens for cells of mesenchymal origin. The identity of the growth factor bound to a receptor monomer determines whether the functional receptor is a homodimer or a heterodimer, composed of both platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha and beta polypeptides. Studies suggest that this gene plays a role in organ development, wound healing, and tumor progression. Mutations in this gene have been associated with idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome, somatic and familial gastrointestinal stromal tumors, and a variety of other cancers.
DPABH-19672 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:200), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:50–1:200) applications.
DPABH-19672 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide,50% glycerol,pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
