This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10955) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PCMTD1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PCMTD1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PCMTD1 (Protein-L-Isoaspartate O-Methyltransferase Domain-Containing Protein 1) is a human protein-coding gene that acts as a substrate adaptor for the Cullin-RING E3 ubiquitin ligase (CRL5) complex. It recognizes L-isoaspartyl-damaged proteins, facilitating their ubiquitination and degradation rather than repairing them, providing a unique damage-control mechanism. DPABH-10955 is suitable for use in ELISA, Western blot (WB) applications. DPABH-10955 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% Sodium Azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
