General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-25509) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PCDH10, targeting the amino acid region 19–368 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PCDH10 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Protocadherin 10 (PCDH10) is a protein-coding gene located on human chromosome 4q28.3 that encodes a member of the δ2 subgroup of non-clustered protocadherins within the cadherin superfamily, characterized by six extracellular cadherin repeats for calcium-dependent homophilic cell-cell adhesion, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic tail with conserved motifs (CM1 and CM2) that interact with intracellular partners like the WAVE regulatory complex to influence actin cytoskeleton dynamics. Primarily expressed in the developing and adult central nervous system (CNS), including regions such as the cortex, hippocampus, amygdala, and olfactory system, PCDH10 mediates key processes in neural development, including axon outgrowth and guidance, dendritogenesis, synaptogenesis, and activity-dependent synapse elimination via mechanisms like the ubiquitination and degradation of postsynaptic density protein 95 (PSD-95).
DPABH-25509 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-25509 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
