This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21759) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PAQR7, targeting the amino acid region 1–69 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Progestin and adipoQ receptor 7 (PAQR7), also called membrane P4 receptor α (mPRα), is a membrane protein with seven transmembrane domains, similar to G protein-coupled receptors (PMID: 34217103). Studies have shown that PAQR7 has important physiological functions in various reproductive tissues (PMID: 12601167). In addition, PAQR7 participates in the antimitotic action of P4 in human GCs and luteal cells, and P4's ability to suppress entry into the cell cycle was dependent on PAQR7 but not nuclear progesterone receptor (PGR) (PMID: 26203174).
DPABH-21759 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application.
DPABH-21759 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
