General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05242) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PAPSS2, targeting the amino acid region 1–333 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PAPSS2 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PAPSS2 is one of the two PAPS synthetases. Three-prime-phosphoadenosine 5-prime-phosphosulfate (PAPS) is the sulfate donor cosubstrate for all sulfotransferase (SULT) enzymes. SULTs catalyze the sulfate conjugation of many endogenous and exogenous compounds, including drugs and other xenobiotics. In humans, PAPS is synthesized from adenosine 5-prime triphosphate (ATP) and inorganic sulfate by 2 isoforms, PAPSS1 and PAPSS2. DPABH-05242 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,400), IHC (1:200–1:800) applications. DPABH-05242 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
