General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18361) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PAPOLG, targeting the amino acid region 469–736 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PAPOLG, also named as Neo-poly(A) polymerase or Polynucleotide adenylyltransferase gamma, is a 736 amino acid protein, which belongs to the poly(A) polymerase family. PAPOLG is expressed predominantly in testis, and weakly in other tissues. PAPOLG is responsible for the post-transcriptional adenylation of the 3'-terminal of mRNA precursors and several small RNAs including signal recognition particle (SRP) RNA, nuclear 7SK RNA, U2 small nuclear RNA, and ribosomal 5S RNA.
DPABH-18361 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:20–1:200), IF/ICC (1:800–1:3,200) applications.
DPABH-18361 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
