General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-23799) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PALMD. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PALMD from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PALMD (Palmdelphin) is a protein-coding gene that belongs to the paralemmin protein family, which is involved in membrane dynamics and cell shape regulation. PALMD encodes a cytosolic protein associated with the plasma membrane and actin cytoskeleton, and it is thought to play a role in cellular processes such as membrane expansion, differentiation, and apoptosis. Expression of PALMD has been reported in multiple tissues, including cardiovascular tissues, where it may contribute to vascular biology and remodeling. Although its precise molecular functions are not fully defined, emerging studies suggest potential involvement in tumor suppression and cell death pathways, making it of interest in both developmental biology and cancer research.
DPABH-23799 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:2000) application.
DPABH-23799 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
