This product (Catalog No. DPABH-11981) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human P2RX6, targeting the amino acid region 55–160 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with P2RX6 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family of P2X receptors, which are ATP-gated ion channels and mediate rapid and selective permeability to cations. This gene is predominantly expressed in skeletal muscle, and regulated by p53. The encoded protein is associated with VE-cadherin at the adherens junctions of human umbilical vein endothelial cells. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A related pseudogene, which is also located on chromosome 22, has been identified.
DPABH-11981 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-11981 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
