This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22809) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human OR5T3. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with OR5T3 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. OR5T3 (Olfactory Receptor Family 5 Subfamily T Member 3) is a human protein-coding gene that encodes an olfactory receptor belonging to the G protein–coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily. It is predicted to possess the canonical seven-transmembrane domain structure characteristic of olfactory receptors and is primarily expressed in olfactory sensory neurons within the nasal epithelium. OR5T3 participates in the detection of odorant molecules by binding specific volatile compounds and activating intracellular signaling pathways via olfactory G proteins (such as Golf), leading to cAMP-mediated neuronal activation and contributing to the perception of smell. Like many human olfactory receptors, its specific ligand specificity and detailed functional properties remain largely uncharacterized.

DPABH-22809 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
