General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-09047) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human OR10H4. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with OR10H4 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. OR10H4 (Olfactory Receptor Family 10 Subfamily H Member 4) is a protein-coding gene that encodes a member of the olfactory receptor (OR) superfamily, which belongs to the class A G protein–coupled receptors (GPCRs). OR10H4 is primarily expressed in the olfactory epithelium, where it is involved in the detection of odorant molecules and the initiation of olfactory signal transduction through activation of G proteins such as Golf, leading to downstream cyclic AMP (cAMP)-mediated signaling. Like other olfactory receptors, OR10H4 possesses a characteristic seven-transmembrane domain structure that enables it to bind diverse volatile ligands. Although its specific odorant ligands and detailed functional properties have not been fully characterized, OR10H4 contributes to the broad diversity of the human olfactory receptor repertoire and the perception of smell.
DPABH-09047 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:1000), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500) applications.
DPABH-09047 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
