General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-02909) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human NUDT3, targeting the amino acid region 16–163 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. NUDT3 is a protein-coding gene in humans located on chromosome 6p21.31 that encodes nudix hydrolase 3 (NUDT3), also known as diphosphoinositol polyphosphate phosphohydrolase 1 (DIPP1), a member of the Nudix (MutT) family of enzymes. These proteins function as homeostatic checkpoints in nucleoside phosphate metabolic pathways, hydrolyzing potentially harmful intermediates such as 8-oxo-dGTP to prevent DNA damage like AT-to-CG transversions. NUDT3 exhibits multiple enzymatic activities, including the hydrolysis of diphosphoinositol polyphosphates (EC 3.6.1.52) and other nucleoside diphosphate-linked moieties, and serves as an mRNA decapping enzyme that removes the 5' cap from both monomethylated and unmethylated capped RNAs.
DPABH-02909 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-02909 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
