This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19457) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human NSFL1C. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with NSFL1C from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor (NSF) and valosin-containing protein (p97) are two ATPases known to be involved in transport vesicle/target membrane fusion and fusions between membrane compartments. A trimer of the protein encoded by this gene binds a hexamer of cytosolic p97 and is required for p97-mediated regrowth of Golgi cisternae from mitotic Golgi fragments. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A related pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 8. DPABH-19457 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:50–1:200), IP (1:50–1:100) applications. DPABH-19457 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
