General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27717) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human NPLOC4. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with NPLOC4 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The ternary complex containing UFD1, VCP and NPLOC4 binds ubiquitinated proteins and is necessary for the export of misfolded proteins from the ER to the cytoplasm, where they are degraded by the proteasome. The NPLOC4-UFD1-VCP complex regulates spindle disassembly at the end of mitosis and is necessary for the formation of a closed nuclear envelope (By similarity). Acts as a negative regulator of type I interferon production via the complex formed with VCP and UFD1, which binds to DDX58/RIG-I and recruits RNF125 to promote ubiquitination and degradation of DDX58/RIG-I.
DPABH-27717 is suitable for use in IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500), WB 1 (500-1:2000) applications.
DPABH-27717 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
