General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28870) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human NMT2. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes one of two N-myristoyltransferase proteins. N-terminal myristoylation is a lipid modification that is involved in regulating the function and localization of signaling proteins. The encoded protein catalyzes the addition of a myristoyl group to the N-terminal glycine residue of many signaling proteins, including the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) proteins, Gag and Nef. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. DPABH-28870 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:25–1:100) applications. DPABH-28870 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
