This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12750) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human NEK2, targeting the amino acid region 1–100 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with NEK2 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a serine/threonine-protein kinase that is involved in mitotic regulation. This protein is localized to the centrosome, and undetectable during G1 phase, but accumulates progressively throughout the S phase, reaching maximal levels in late G2 phase. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms with distinct C-termini have been noted for this gene.
DPABH-12750 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-12750 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
