This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21762) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human NCS1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with NCS1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene is a member of the neuronal calcium sensor gene family, which encode calcium-binding proteins expressed predominantly in neurons. The protein encoded by this gene regulates G protein-coupled receptor phosphorylation in a calcium-dependent manner and can substitute for calmodulin. The protein is associated with secretory granules and modulates synaptic transmission and synaptic plasticity. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. DPABH-21762 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-21762 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
