General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12935) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human NCKAP5, targeting the amino acid region 1–115 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human NCKAP5 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. NCKAP5 (Nck-associated protein 5), also known as NAP5. NCKAP5 is predicted to be located in cells, especially in nucleoli, Golgi apparatus, cell membrane and cytoplasm. It is widely expressed in many tissues, especially in lung and kidney, and in more than 20 other tissues. And the expression of NCKAP5 was enhanced in oligodendrocytes, oligodendrocyte precursor cells and astrocytes. It may interact with other protein, such as NPM1 and centromere protein complex, and regulate accurate chromosome segregation and distribution. NCKAP5 may be involved in the formation and development of tumors, especially in the process of tumor variation such as ovary and breast cancer. In addition, NCKAP5 may be a diagnostic biomarker in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), which is related to the infiltration of activated B cells, regulatory T cells (Tregs), neutrophils and dendritic cells (PMID: 36628881). The molecular weight of NCKAP5 is 208 kDa, it also has some protein modifications.
DPABH-12935 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-12935 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
