General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20291) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MYOM3, targeting the amino acid region 888–1213 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human MYOM3 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. MYOM3 (myomesin 3) is a structural component of the M-band in striated muscle and is involved in sarcomere stability and resistance during intense or sustained stretching. MYOM3 can be detected mainly in intermediate-speed fibers of skeletal muscle. Recently high levels of MYOM3 fragments were detected in sera from patients with muscular dystrophy, including Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). MYOM3 fragments may be used as serum biomarkers for DMD and other neuromuscular disorders. DPABH-20291 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:20–1:400), IF-P (1:50–1:500) applications. DPABH-20291 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
