General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04439) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MYO1C, targeting the amino acid region 765–1011 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human MYO1C from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. MYO1C is a human gene that encodes myosin IC, a member of the unconventional myosin superfamily of actin-based molecular motors involved in intracellular transport, cytoskeletal organization, and cellular signaling processes. Located on chromosome 17p13.3, it produces multiple protein isoforms, including cytoplasmic and nuclear variants, with ubiquitous expression across tissues such as fat and lung. The protein features a conserved motor head domain for ATP hydrolysis and actin binding, IQ motifs for calmodulin interaction, and a tail domain that associates with membrane phospholipids, enabling its roles in vesicle trafficking and membrane dynamics.
DPABH-04439 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-04439 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
