General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26043) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MYLPF, targeting the amino acid region 1–169 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human MYLPF from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Myosin light chain, phosphorylatable, fast skeletal muscle (MYLPF) is a regulatory protein encoded by the human MYL11 gene, serving as one of the four light chains in the conventional myosin complex of fast-twitch skeletal muscle fibers. Located on chromosome 16p11.2 (GRCh38: 16:30,370,934-30,377,991), the MYL11 gene spans approximately 7 kb and consists of 7 exons, producing a 169-amino-acid protein with conserved calcium-binding EF-hand domains and phosphorylation sites that facilitate its role in modulating actin-myosin interactions during muscle contraction.[.
DPABH-26043 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications.
DPABH-26043 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
